...has signed Stephen Alexander, former tight end and end zone pass-dropper for the Lions. I especially like the sub-headline "Veteran proved his worth in 2004." Apparently, he did this by appearing in almost every game. Quite an accomplishment. I think the best proof of Alexander's worth was the contract the Lions offered at the end of the season...to Marcus Pollard.
